«GM-Avtovaz» sales department initiated and gathered CIS-countries’ dealers on 17-18 May in Togliatti to work out strategy of further collaboration. Sales and Marketing Director Konstantin Bayshev says that sales volumes in CIS countries increased three times as compared to the same period of the previous year and today they reach 15% of the total sales. This allows not only plan deliveries more effective and have certain safety reserve but also enables tracking vehicle operation in mountain conditions with abrupt temperature drops. This makes possible taking non-standard decisions when necessary.
The Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan are leading in sales. However, thanks to elaborated politics in marketing Kazakhstan dealers are very close to their Ukrainian colleagues. It is to mention that in the first decade of June on the territory of Kazakhstan there will be a motor race of 8 Chevrolet-Nivas which will be attended by CIS-countries’ dealers and journalists from leading Russian automobile magazines and newspapers. The event will receive great response in the mass media. It is not just by chance that dealer centers of Mercur Motors from Astana and Almaty as well as Global Auto from Ust’-Kamenogorsk are recognized among the best in matching highest standards. In connection with it we shall mention dynamic work of Sanar Motors in Uzbekistan.
In the conference work also participated directors and managers of GM-AVTOVAZ who answered numerous questions of the dealers. The guests also visited GM-AVTOVAZ and Togliatti dealer center Krumb-Service.
When closing the conference Richard Swando said: “It is very pleasant that our cars are sold not only in Russia but also in CIS countries. Thus, we do develop new markets. We want to hear questions, react to them and take appropriate decisions. GM in Russia is for long”.
