Huge snowdrifts appear on Togliatti roadsides just after snow removing. The citizens, overcoming these serious obstacles, have already understood that the most important for them is not just to cross the road, but not to fall from these curbs and avoid an accident.
Yesterday the Mayor Nikolay Utkin was at a loss, he wanted to clarify this situation, to know why these snowdrifts are not taken away, but just tamped after removing. The Director of the housing and communal services department Viktor Popov has objected. He said that main thing is that the employees clean pedestrian crossings regularly. However the mayor has not accepted this argument, so he gave the department instructions to bring the curbs in order in the nearest future.
